Okay, okay, so I have so many questions and can’t wait for the fourth and final book in this series. I’ll admit, though I love Kendig’s writing, it took me a little while to adjust to the names and locations in her space opera series. But by book three, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it.

In Shadow of Honor, I fell completely in love with Marco’s character, gained even deeper respect for Isaura, and started to feel the teeniest bit of compassion for Kersei. She’s still not my favorite, but alas, she did grow on me.

Things are starting to come together, threads pulling tight, closing gaps between the stories of all these characters we love. I loved seeing Eija really come into her own in this one—and finally, more Tigo! What surprised me most is that it took this book to show me that Tigo is my favorite, despite his smaller role in the series.

We see light where there was darkness; hope despite the war that is upon them. And war is coming. After all, Kendig recently released the title of her fourth book: War of Torment. I can’t wait to see how this series ends!
