Unbreakable
Author
Once upon a time, Sara Ella dreamed she would marry a Disney prince and live in a castle. Now she spends her days homeschooling her three Jedi in training, braving the Arizona summers, and reminding her superhero husband that it’s almost Christmas (even if it’s only January). When she’s not writing, Sara might be found behind her camera lens or planning her next adventure to California. A lover of fairy tales, she believes “Happily Ever After is Never Far Away.”
Sara’s UNBLEMISHED trilogy is an ode to her love for all things that begin with “once upon a time.” Her standalone novel CORAL, a reimagining of The Little Mermaid that focuses on mental health, is the novel of her heart—a reminder that you are not nothing, and you are not alone. Sara’s Alice in Wonderland retelling, THE WONDERLAND TRIALS, is available now from Enclave Publishing.

Summary
With the fate of the Reflections at stake, Eliyana must destroy the Void . . . but at what cost?
Eliyana Ember is a reluctant queen. As vessel of the Verity—the purest of souls—only she can lead the fight against the wicked magnetism of the Void. If she fails, the paths between Reflections will cease to exist, and those she loves will remain plagued by darkness.
After passing through a draining Threshold and suffering near-death, Eliyana awakens to a Shadowalker-ridden Venice, Italy. From there, she must learn to navigate mysteries of time and space. Traveling across the seven Reflections, Eliyana seeks one thing: the demise of the Void.
But something else is at stake—the fate of her heart. Ky Rhyen and Joshua David, brothers in arms, duel to win her hand. Ky remains ensnared and tortured by the Void. Joshua, though well-meaning, harbors dark family secrets. Meanwhile, Eliyana finds herself torn, her mind and memories leading her in one direction, but her heart pulling her toward a man she knows she shouldn’t trust.
How can she discern whom to believe when she cannot even depend upon her own fragmented memories?
Traversing the realms of fantasy and reality through a labyrinth of plot twists, Unbreakable delivers a thrilling conclusion to Sara Ella’s Unblemished Trilogy.

Wow! This book took the unexpected to a whole new level. The timeline is a bit hard to follow in places, but I can’t really tell you why without giving spoilers. But in the end, it all flowed together beautifully. So, here we are.
I had high hopes for this one after falling in love with Unblemished and Unraveling, and this epic conclusion did not disappoint. I didn’t know that it was possible for my heart to be broken so many different ways through a book. Thanks, Sara.
But really, thank you. Because my heart was also mended in a thousand ways through your words. I identify with Eliyana on so many levels, that these stories felt personal. Sara really has a knack for drawing you in and making you feel like you’re part of the story. I could envision myself traipsing through the woods or into danger right alongside Eliyana, Ky, Joshua, and the others we’ve grown to love over the last two books.
The Verity is a complex and often befuddling entity; as is its relationship to the Void. In this book, we finally get their origin story and learn how they, along with the kiss of infinity, really work.
We also get to see Eliana’s healing in the way she accepts herself—mirror mark and all—over time. And aren’t we all growing more into comfort with ourselves—or learning we need to grow a bit uncomfortable—over time?
Then there’s Ky, who just really shifts into a power player here. Seeing his struggle from his perspective really digs into our very human struggle over right and wrong, jealousy and love, and so much more.
Unbreakable is yet another lovable and fascinating read from Sara Ella. Next up on my list from this author: The Wonderland Trials.

Quotable
What’s the outside? The shell I’m stuck in? This doesn’t define me. Never has, never will.
Eliyana, p. 14
Pain is something you get used to after a certain passage of time. In a way, it becomes its own kind of comfort. Because pain is familiar.
Ky, p. 59
It takes a real man to recognize vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. And the same goes for you. Let the act go, lower the walls, and let people in.
Tide, p. 87
Any ruler who chooses suffering over saving is no ruler at all.
Joshua, p. 290
My Take
Love is a wild and conquering force. It can lead us to sacrifice everything. Or if we lose it, we can become broken, unrecognizable versions of ourselves.
